DIY Home Project: Painted Dresser

One of the best and worst feelings is moving, one of the employees here at Qazzoo recently moved into a new house. He expressed great joy as the house is brand new and incredible. However there was a problem with some of the furniture, while it wasn't in bad shape, it just simply didn't fit the color scheme anymore. He decided that instead of purchasing new furniture he would simply paint it to make it the exact color he needed to match. And this method proved to be very cost effective and looks amazing!

DIY Home Project: Outlet Covers

How many times have you walked into a home and noticed the outlet covers are all different colors and styles as you progress through the house. Generally you can get away with this if the style matches the room and colors work the same way, but what do you do when you decide to change that room, do you spend possibly $100+ on new outlet covers? Generally most people forget all about them, but there is an easier and more cost effective solution then buying new ones, and thats painting the existing ones! Check out these!

DIY Home Project: Painted Concrete Floors

Today were looking at what to do with those boring concrete floors, this can be done anywhere, the garage, basement, or in older houses your regular cement floors. Our person picked up the stencils at the dollar store and simply swept the area, mopped and allowed to dry. She then taped a border and some straight guide lines across the floor to make sure the stencils stayed true. While this project is time consuming you cannot argue with the end result, its looks great and is a major fraction of the cost of alternatives.

DIY Home Project: Custom Herringbone Driveway

Today were looking at a custom driveway that looks great! Instead of a plain old concrete driveway were looking at a project that adds a Brick Herringbone Center Strip to add some flash. Starting by framing in the driveway and pouring the concrete outside of the frame for the Brick Herringbone Center Strip. Then designing your layout and laying it. The final product looks amazing!
